Kayla Gonzalez (she/her)
Yoga Instructor | Meditation & Satsang Guide

Hi! I'm Kayla,

I’m a devoted yoga and meditation teacher, sacred space holder, and facilitator, grounded in the values of joy, dignity, and liberation. As a proud Latina, I weave my cultural heritage and lived experience into every offering, honoring the importance of representation and creating spaces where people feel seen, safe, and celebrated.

My mission is to cultivate environments that support healing, growth, and authentic connection—spaces where people can remember who they are and reclaim their joy and autonomy.

I hold an RYT 800 certification through Empower Yoga Milwaukee, School Yoga Institute, and Maharishi Yogapeeth, with a focus on intuitive wisdom and holistic psychology. The roots of yoga, particularly from its birthplace in India, continue to guide and inspire my path. I remain deeply committed to honoring the cultural and spiritual lineages of yoga with humility and reverence, letting that wisdom shape the heart of my work.

My journey has taken me through the Himalayas, the Andes, the Caribbean, and Central America—each place enriching my understanding and deepening the presence I bring into my offerings. I lead retreats around the world that invite self-discovery, spiritual inquiry, and healing in sacred community.

Whether through trainings, workshops, ceremonies, or everyday classes, my work is rooted in mindfulness, embodied movement, and heart-centered connection. I aim to meet people where they are, gently balancing challenge and ease, offering space to connect more deeply with breath, body, and inner truth.

I’m honored to share these offerings through Sigue Sanando—a wellness space dedicated to collective healing—at Empower Yoga Milwaukee, and online through my Patreon. I look forward to continuing to walk alongside others on their journeys of self-discovery, expansion, and homecoming.

Caitlyn McWilliams (she/they)
Yoga Instructor

Hi! I'm Caitlyn,

I am a local educator and East Coast Latina who will guide you with an inquisitive, sunny, gentle nature. After more than ten years of developing my personal practice, I’ve invested in an immersive 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand. My teaching style is influenced by my international travels, Montessori training, various meditation techniques, Hatha, Yin and Yoga Nidra. My aim is to provide a dynamic experience on the mat; which may include origin storytelling, sound-healing, attention to alignment and guidance on tuning into the subtle language of sensations that arise during our practice. I invites you to practice with me as we connect to self and community at Resilient Joy!

Lissett G Diaz (ella/she)
Maestra de Yoga
Yoga Instructor

¡Hola, soy Lissett!

Hello! My name is Lissett and I am in love with the sun, the earth, and the water.

Like water, my yoga practice is deeply rooted in peace and non-violence (ahimsa). I flow gently with kindness and compassion. Off my mat, I aim to protect swimmable, drinkable, and fishable bodies of water, and take each step in my life with mindfulness.

Like a flower, my seeds are watered with love from my community and culture. This energy gives me light, the light that comes from my heart to my yoga mat.

Join the Resilient Joy community, and together we can take the next step in our personal journeys together safely. Guided through movement and sound, we can tap in and connect with the earth beneath us to blossom into versions of ourselves we strive to be. Offerings are in both Spanish and English.

Mark Jasso (he/him)
Yoga Instructor

Hi! I’m Mark,

I am a passionate yoga teacher dedicated to helping others discover resilience and joy through mindful movement, breath, and self-awareness. As a Kripalu graduate, I bring warmth, authenticity, and curiosity to my teaching, inviting students of all levels to explore growth and healing.

As a lifelong athlete, I’ve always valued the connection between body and mind. Yoga became a path to both physical strength and inner peace, leading me to a daily practice rooted in continuous learning. My classes emphasize mindful awareness, self-compassion, and the transformative power of movement and stillness.

Before teaching yoga, I spent 25 years as a chef, passionate about creating nourishing, vegetarian cuisine that supports well-being. Off the mat, I enjoy cooking, nature, music, and spending time with my two boys.

At Resilient Joy, I’m excited to foster a supportive community where students can explore, connect, and embrace their resilience. Join me on the mat and experience the transformative power of yoga!

Stefy Hobbins (she/her)
Yoga Instructor

Hi! I’m Stefy,

I began my yoga journey in 2012, completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Pilgrimage of the Heart in San Diego in 2016, and earned my Acroyoga International teaching credential in Guadalajara, Mexico in 2018. I teach yin, gentle, hatha, vinyasa, and acroyoga in both English and Spanish. As someone who can never sit still, I lean into these movement meditations to stay rooted. In my free time, I love working in the garden, making art, cooking, and—of course—eating!
